Description
The Quest Pro Quilt is a versatile ultralight quilt, with clever design, top-tier materials and compact pack size. The lower temperature limit for the Quest Pro is -3°C for males and +3°C for females.
Three mat straps with quilt attachment points secure the Quest Pro on top of your sleeping mat: the fit can be adjusted to suit your body shape and size.
In warm weather, use the quilt as a flat blanket. In mild weather: cinch the footbox and keep the top half in a relaxed open fit. In colder temperatures the keep the footbox closed, then tuck the quilt around your shoulders; clever design in the torso baffles ensures a spacious, comfy fit that reduces draughts and traps warmth.
Made with 10 D Vapour Vent V2 fabric in a Vertical-Horizontal-Vertical box wall baffle system, ensuing the best warmth to weight performance possible and filled with 800-850 Hydrophobic down in Melbourne.
Baffle Construction
ONE PLANET baffle technology maximises thermal efficiency.
The vertical baffle system uses vertical and horizontal chambers to keep lofty down in the right spot, regardless of night-time manoeuvres. Box wall baffles connect the outer shell and internal fabric, creating 3D chambers that promote lofting, aid even insulation and stop draughts.
Quest Booster
The Quest Pro Quilt can be used as a booster, extending both the warmth and versatility of your sleeping bag.
Setup your QUEST PRO in the widest (largest) setting. The aim is to have enough space for it to cover your sleeping bag with full coverage, leaving minimal gaps for heat to escape. Then fit your sleeping bag snugly inside the quilt. See Setup and Booster instructions. See Setup and Booster instructions for more details.
Fit To Size
The Quest Pro Quilt is designed to be used with a sleeping mat (which forms the base panel of your sleep system). The Quest Pro fits around your body, on top of the mat. Designed to be adjustable to different users, it can be wider and looser for the broad shouldered amongst us, or snug, reducing draughts for colder temperatures. See Setup and Booster instructions for more details.
Hydrophobic Down
All ONE PLANET down has been treated with a non PFC hydrophobic water repellency application. This causes the down to repel water rather than absorb it, minimising clumping and helping the down in your sleeping bag stay dry and lofty.
Hydrophobic Down allows your sleeping bag to dry quicker and stay warm for longer, and is especially important for bags used on multiday journeys or in wet conditions.
Vapour Vent V2
The Vapour Vent (V2) fabrics are lightweight, breathable nylon with Non PFC water-repellent treatment that promotes hands-free moisture management.
The smooth fabrics are light and warm to the touch, ideal for use on multi-day journeys. The tight weave and high thread count ensures they are ‘downproof by construction’. The majority of our bags use the silky, light, 10-denier version both inside and out, while some use the more durable 20-denier option.
Premium Loft
The quality of down used in the Quest Pro Quilt makes a huge difference to its warmth, weight, durability and compactness, as well as the loft recovery of the fill. We use 800-850 loft Hydrophobic Down is our premium choice – a must for the gram counters.
Ethically-Sourced Down
ONE PLANET takes its responsibility to uphold the highest standards of animal welfare seriously. Our down is gathered in a way that meets our strict ethical and quality standards, and is sourced as a by-product from the food and meat industry. We source from certified facilities and audit with the IDFL (International Down and Feather Laboratory). In our Melbourne factory we hold only our own audited batches of down: there is no chance of cross contamination.
Filled In Melbourne
Each ONE PLANET Quest Pro Quilt is filled to order in our Melbourne factory (usually the following day!). We’ve been filling our sleeping bags in Australia for more than 40 years: it’s the best way to ensure premium-quality, freshly-made bags.
Design Philosophy
Our design innovations have led the way since 1980, both locally and globally. Our sleeping bags are designed after careful consideration of real sleep – how we lie, move and lose warmth – and real people, with ranges made to fit females and males of all shapes and sizes.
ONE PLANET sleeping bags combine 40 years of manufacturing experience with world-leading materials, modern scientific testing and the passion to keep improving.
Features
- The Quest Pro Quilt is versatile, with options in use, fit and setup.
- Easily and securely attaches to any lightweight hiking sleeping mat (using mat straps), both thicker or thinner, self-inflating or air mats.
- ONE PLANET quilt mat straps use a press stud and daisy chain connection, simple! Built to keep the quilt secure on a sleeping mat and lock out drafts during the night nights. The system avoids the use of sharp, thick buckles that can rub your sleeping mat, or poke into your back. The barrel locks on the mat straps are positioned on the side, for ease of use and to prevent wear points.
- The adaptable and spacious footbox is created when using the press studs and drawcord, helping to keep draughts out. The vertical baffling system in the lower leg ensures insulation and warmth are evenly spread whilst cinching the footbox.
- Drawcords and press studs around the neck allow you to fine tune draught control and adjust to your comfort preference comfort. The tighter, the better warmth will be trapped.
- Box-wall baffles give maximum thermal efficiency
- Vertical-horizontal-vertical baffling system reduces down migration, keeping it trapped where you need it most
- Filled with ethically-sourced, 800-850 loft Hydrophobic Down, Non PFC

How Warm Will I Be?
We provide temperature guideline at which a “standard male” or “standard female” will sleep in thermal equilibrium (have a comfortable night’s sleep). Both the ‘standard male’ and ‘standard female’ are based on a 25-year-old who is fit and healthy. If you’re older or younger, you may sleep colder than the ‘standard’, so we would recommend considering a warmer bag. Your other equipment (sleeping mat, pillow, tent style) the environment (weather, location) and your biology can affect warmth over the night. The temperature range supplied for quilts is a guideline, it assumes you have setup the quilt correctly to reduce draughts, have a well insulated mat and are wearing a head covering.
