The 005 features new technologies aimed to redefine what trail running super shoe performance should feel like. 

Rather than simply take technological conventions from road running and apply them to trail, we have developed a highly responsive and stable shoe with super critical foam that caters to the specific demands of race day performance on trail.

Offering maximum energy return with every step without compromising stability. An Arnitel® midsole propels the 005 into a realm of trail super shoe performance entirely of its own kind.

Breathability
An open mesh Bio-Dyneema® upper weave pattern allows for maximum breathability and rapid water drainage. A smooth microsuede tongue that molds to the foot and is detailed with perforation to reduce heat.

Lightness
At 177g, the 005 is the lightest super shoe ever crafted for trail running. Through obsessive iterating of the shoe, we were able to shave weight in every possible area without sacrificing performance or durability.

Durability
While most super shoes are engineered for race day, the 005 is engineered for race days — plural. The combined use of the world’s most advanced materials and compounds allows for sustained super shoe performance over an unparalleled amount of mileage through all terrain and conditions.

Innovation

Open Mesh Bio-Dyneema
An open mesh Bio-Dyneema and recycled upper is impossibly strong and featherlight. The weave pattern allows for maximum breathability and rapid water drainage.

Megagrip Elite
Featuring the world's first release of Vibram Megagrip Elite rubber. This is a race day compound, which is the grippiest and lightest formulation ever created by Vibram.

Hi-Vis
Reflective piping along the upper adds hi-vis to the shoe, increasing visibility whenever necessary.

TPEE Insoles
Comes with two insoles. A moulded one already inside and an even lighter weight die-cut insole for shaving even more weight on race day.

005 Fit-Lock System
Featuring a new interior foot binding technology engaged via the laces and to ensure unwavering stability. A minimal heel collar has substantial interior pods for further lockdown and minimal debris entry.

Arnitel Midsole
Featuring an entirely pure Arnitel (TPEE) midsole unlike any shoe ever has before. This allows for the 005 to be incredibly lightweight and responsive while remaining highly durable.

Microsuede Tongue
A smooth, perforated microsuede tongue moulds to the foot and allows for heat to escape during high intensity efforts.

Details

Upper - Woven with bio-circular Dyneema® for the highest performance, abrasion resistance and the lightest footprint.
Laces - The laces are 4mm instead of 5mm to reduce weight. They are made with Dyneema®, providing higher abrasion resistance, more stretch and is 4x as strong as a standard lace.
005 Fit-Lock System - The 005 has a proprietary fit lock system detailed for race day. The heel collar is designed with pods for increased foot lockdown, comfort and reducing debris entry. The tongue is a smooth, perforated microsuede that molds to the foot and allows for heat to escape during high intensity running. This fit lock system is finished off with a new interior foot binding technology which is engaged via the laces and ensures unwavering stability.
Insole - Two insoles. A molded Arnitel® TPEE insole comes ready inside the 005 for training mileage. An additional die-cut insole is included for race days when you’re looking to shave even more weight.
Midsole - The 005 features an entirely pure Arnitel® (TPEE) midsole unlike any shoe ever has before. This allows for the 005 to be incredibly lightweight and responsive while remaining highly durable. While most supershoes are engineered for race day, the 005 is engineered for race days – plural.
Tongue - The tongue material is a smooth microsuede that molds the foot and is detailed with perforation to reduce heat.
Heel collar - Bigger pods at the collar area for a more tight collar fit and to reduce debris from coming in.
Soleplate - A brand new norda full length one piece soleplate design featuring the world's first release of Vibram® Megagrip Elite rubber. This is a race day compound, which is the grippiest and lightest formulation ever created by Vibram®. The increased traction of the Megagrip Elite allows for varying lug heights, which accommodate seamless transitions between technical trails and fire roads.
