One Planet Quest Pro Sleeping Quilt

Overview

The Quest Pro Series is an efficient ultralight quilt, available in two temperatures, rated to the lower limit for both males (M) and females (F): 0 M (+7 F) °C or -3 M (+3 F) °C. This box wall baffle quilt has been carefully designed to give significant weight savings, using a combination of vertical and V-baffles filled with our premium 800-850 loft down. It is available in regular or large sizes, with 10 D Vapour Vent V2 used as both the shell and internal fabric for excellent breathability and durability. It is easily secured around any sleeping mat using the adjustable fastening loops, or add a Quest Pro as a booster to all ONE PLANET sleeping bags to create a year-round sleep system.

Baffle Construction
ONE PLANET baffle technology maximises thermal efficiency.

Vertical-V baffle system uses vertical and V-baffles to keep our lofty down in its precise location, no matter how you wriggle and roll. Box wall baffles connect the outer shell and internal fabric, creating 3D chambers that promote lofting, aid even insulation and stop draughts. The differential cut also assists lofting: the internal fabric is cut narrower than the outer shell, making the bag’s inner circumference smaller than its outer.

Quest Booster
The Quest range of boosters can be used with the entire ONE PLANET sleeping bag range, allowing you to extend both the warmth and versatility of your sleeping bag. Adding a Quest vastly increases the warmth of your sleeping bag: ideal for winter and shoulder seasons.

The Quest pro quilt is easily attached to the inside of your sleeping bag using the hook-and-loop tabs.

Vapour Vent V2
The Vapour Vent (V2) fabrics are lightweight, breathable nylon with Non PFC water-repellent treatment that promotes hands-free moisture management.

The smooth fabrics are light and warm to the touch, ideal for use on multi-day journeys. The tight weave and high thread count ensures they are ‘downproof by construction’. The majority of our bags use the silky, light, 10-denier version both inside and out, while some use the more durable 20-denier option.

Hydrophobic Down
All ONE PLANET down has been treated with a non PFC hydrophobic water repellency application. This causes the down to repel water rather than absorb it, minimising clumping and helping the down in your sleeping bag stay dry and lofty.

Hydrophobic Down allows your sleeping bag to dry quicker and stay warm for longer, and is especially important for bags used on multiday journeys or in wet conditions.

Fit To Size
Quest Pro quilt is an awesome lightweight, stand-alone quilts in mild conditions. The Quest is fitted around your sleeping mat using a combination of hook-and-loop tabs and a daisy chain. (It sits flat so it won’t damage your mat or press into your back.)

Premium Loft
The quality of down used in the Quest Pro makes a huge difference to its warmth, weight, durability and compactness, as well as the loft recovery of the fill. We use 800-850 loft Hydrophobic Down is our premium choice – a must for the gram counters.

Ethically-Sourced Down
ONE PLANET takes its responsibility to uphold the highest standards of animal welfare seriously. Our down is gathered in a way that meets our strict ethical and quality standards, and is sourced as a by-product from the food and meat industry. We source from certified facilities and audit with the IDFL (International Down and Feather Laboratory). In our Melbourne factory we hold only our own audited batches of down: there is no chance of cross contamination.

Filled In Melbourne
Each ONE PLANET Quest pro quilt is filled to order in our Melbourne factory (usually the following day!). We’ve been filling our sleeping bags in Australia for more than 40 years: it’s the best way to ensure premium-quality, freshly-made bags.

How Warm Will I Be?
We provide temperature guideline at which a “standard male” or “standard female” will sleep in thermal equilibrium (have a comfortable night’s sleep). Both the ‘standard male’ and ‘standard female’ are based on a 25-year-old who is fit and healthy. If you’re older or younger, you may sleep colder than the ‘standard’, so we would recommend considering a warmer bag. Your other equipment (sleeping mat, pillow, tent style) the environment (weather, location) and your biology can affect warmth over the night. The temperature range supplied for quilts is a guideline, it assumes you have tucked the quilt under your well insulated mat to reduce droughts and are wearing a head covering.
