Favourite book: Need time to think on this! I love books. Full stop!

Three things I consistently do to make everyday great: Download & clarify my thoughts using a journal; do something outdoors or playful every day; focus on treating others as I wish to be treated, usually involving compassion, reciprocity & encouragement.  If I was allowed to have four things I would now include Plant-powered nutrition.
Goals for 2017: Be wilder in my intentions; write more; simplify what I can; launch our Find Your Feet podcast; support the Tarkine Wilderness Conservation in Tasmania
Morning or night person: This ‘Nanny Hanny’ is definitely a morning person! My best hours are between 5 & 7am.
Mountain bike or road bike: Both. I actually love riding a mountain bike on the road.

A perfect weekend consists of: Living simply - Wild adventuring; 'Van Life'; time with Graham; time alone; time with friends; writing; sunshine, swimming in fresh water.

If I could change anything in the world today it would be: That all our energy production came from solar or wind and the Tarkine was a Wilderness World Heritage Protected Area.

Current favourite shoes: I love my Salomon S-lab Ultra Sense 5s, I still remember when I met the lovely Salomon Rep from Melbourne who said to me “can you handle them!”.
Three things I consistently do to make everyday great: Everyday for me is super busy and often involves rushing around with many balls in the air. Each morning I try to wake slowly and set my intentions for the day. I have 1 big glass of water before I eat breakfast. I tell Matt and the boys that I love them and wish them a wonderful day.
Goals for 2017: I plan to continue to journey with my family and take them on wild adventures in nature.

Mountain bike or road bike: Mt Bike (although a bit of a newbie!)

Tea or coffee: Tea 100%, I love a delicious Herbal Tea with a generous spoonful of real honey.
A perfect weekend consists of: Being with my beautiful family. Relaxing, playing, exploring and having wild adventures.
Favourite piece of outdoor gear/clothing: At the moment I just love our Sea to Summit Xcup and Xplate set. We have had so many amazing picnics with these. My youngest loves them so much he often has his dinner from them when we are at home.
If I could change anything in the world today it would be: There are perhaps many things that we can all improve on. I would mostly like to see people have more respect for the environment and try to preserve its beauty and wonder for future generations. We are all planting the seed of a tree that we will not sit under!

 

Kendall

Name: Kendall Cokley

Personal philosophy: Educate yourself - if you know better, then you do better. 
Favourite quote/saying: Memento Mori (Latin expression meaning 'remember your mortality'. I know it seems a bit morbid but I find it a good way to remember to live in the now :) 
One thing I couldn't live without: Books.
Favourite book: SO MANY! But a special mention to Unwritten by Jack Delosa & The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons.  
Current favourite shoes: Salomon Speed (BUT I'm also really impressed with my new Pearl Izumi Trail M2 - they are so comfy and I feel have helped my dodgy ankles!)
Three things I consistently do to make everyday great: My Five Minute Journal (a daily gratitude journal - it's amazing!), eat a plant based diet & drink coffee!
Goals for 2017: Include more yoga/climbing/mtbing/running in my day & finish of my Masters with a thesis I've put my absolute best effort into. 
Morning or night person: Night - I'd like to be a morning person but I find at night I focus and learn so much better. In the mornings I resemble a zombie!
Mountain bike or road bike: Mountain! I'm petrified of road riding.

Name: Jessica.
Nickname: Spud (I really like sweet potatoes).
Personal philosophy: Find love and laughter in every moment and follow your intuition, especially when she says curious things that terrify you!
One thing I couldn't live without: Water, duh I know, but I can't live without being able to see lots of water like an ocean, river or the beach.
Favourite quote/saying: "What you are afraid to do, is a clear indication of the next thing you need to do"- Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Favourite book: All the Light We Cannot See- Anthony Doerr.
Current favourite shoes: My faithful Salomon Speedcross 4's. They possess some mystical anti-ankle rolling powers and are incredibly comfortable.
Three things I consistently do to make everyday great: Eat lots of yummy plants, do something for someone else and find a reason to smile/ be grateful.
Goals for 2017: Finish the second year of my degree, travel to Japan and explore more of my new home in Tassie!

Mountain bike or road bike: Road bike because I haven't tried mountain biking yet! Goal for 2017?

A perfect weekend consists of: One day exploring a new place in nature with friends, running, swimming or hiking in the sun! Then the other day spent reading, writing and drinking coffee somewhere cosy.
Favourite piece of outdoor gear/clothing: Patagonia Houdini Windproof Jacket. It is incredibly light, packs down really small and fits easily into my Salomon vest pack, breathable and 10/10.
If I could change anything in the world today it would be: For more people to consciously realise their individual power and ability to act as a catalyst for great social and environmental change. That's not asking too much is it?

A perfect weekend consists of: Getting outside and exploring wild places on foot or on 2 wheels, with my mate Boss the trail dog.Yummy food and a few beers.
Favourite piece of outdoor gear/clothing: My Burke & Wills Swag, because if im sleeping in it, I've been having fun somewhere wild. Also, my Petzl Nao - turning night into day so I can allways get that run in.
