The Sonder is a streamlined, practical bag with versatile features, a spacious cut and a lighter build, designed for comfort and warmth year-round. It’s available in three temperature ratings (-3, -5, -8°C ISO 23537-1 limit-of-comfort rating), and small, regular and large sizes. The tapered rectangular shape gives space to move, while the Vertical V-baffle system and draft tube keep warmth where you need it (even as you wriggle around!). The shell is made from durable, water-repellent and highly breathable 10 D Vapour Vent V2 fabric, with a full-length YKK #5 zip and anti-snag locking slider. A separate foot zip allows it to be opened fully to manage warmth.
Tapered rectangular shape gives versatility and roomy comfort
Box-wall baffles give maximum thermal efficiency
Vertical-V baffling system reduces down migration, keeping it trapped where you need it most
Differentially cut baffles promote full and complete lofting of down
The half-moon foot-box is wide and cosy, while base draft tubes keep you warm and toasty
The contoured hood encloses your head, cinching tight while leaving enough space for your nose and mouth
Full-length side zip runs from hood to ankle: a YKK #5 with locking slider and innovative, anti-snag cover
Independent zip on the foot (from ankle to ankle) can be opened fully for extra ventilation
The two zips meet above the ankle, with a 10 cm crossover to keep draughts out
Selecting a zip side is easy: when lying in a sleeping bag, a left-hand zip (LH) is on your left side
Joined at the zip: full-length zips allow models with compatible left and right zips to be zipped together
Hydrophobic Down repels water, helping down stay lofty in all conditions
Your choice of down: ethically-sourced Hydrophobic Down in either 700-750 loft, or lighter (but just as warm) 800-850 loft
Water-resistant thread is used to make a durable, well-sealed sleeping bag
Hang loops on the foot-box allow you to easily hang, dry and store your sleeping bag

FEMALE AND MALE RATINGS ISO 23537-1: INDEPENDENTLY TESTED TEMPERATURE RATINGS
All ONE PLANET sleeping bags are temperature rated in accordance with ISO 23537-1. This is the only globally recognised standard for the temperature testing of sleeping bags, and gives ratings for both females and males. Sleeping bags tested to the International Organisation for Standardisation 23537-1 (Requirements for sleeping bags) allow users to make informed, educated and accurate decisions.
The ISO 23537-1 testing methods allows objective comparisons of the warmth of different shapes (mummy, tapered rectangular and rectangular), sizes (small, regular and large) and how this translates into warmth for both females and males. When reading our temperature rating information, the ’Comfort’ rating gives an accurate figure for the lower limit of comfort for a standard female, while the ‘Limit’ is an accurate gauge of the lowest limit of comfort for a standard male.
Not all manufacturers test to this standard, nor give information about how they arrive at their temperature ratings. As a result, care should be taken when comparing claims of warmth.
